Who is responsible

This website presents the work of the artist Kopel Gurwin. The person responsible for processing your personal data (the data controller) is Boaz Gurwin.

Contact form

When you send a message through the contact form, we receive your name, email address, the subject you select and your message. We use this information only to read and answer your inquiry.

The form is processed by Web3Forms, a form-delivery service that forwards submissions to us by email. Web3Forms keeps submissions for 90 days (three months), after which they are deleted from its service. Its handling of data is also governed by its own privacy policy.

Email

If you write to us by email, including from the Artwork Estimation page, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to include, such as photographs or details of an artwork. We use it only to respond to you.

Artwork Estimation

The estimation calculator runs entirely in your browser. The values you enter are not sent to us or stored. If you consent to analytics, anonymous information about the calculation (such as the size category, condition and resulting estimate) may be recorded, never your name, email address or other personal details.

Analytics and cookies

We use Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics 4 to understand how the website is used, for example which pages are visited. These services are non-essential and do not run until you have given your consent. If you decline, or have not yet chosen, no analytics is loaded and no analytics cookies are set. Advertising features are never enabled.

Your choice is saved in your browser's local storage (not a cookie), so we do not ask on every page. You can change it at any time with “Cookie Preferences” at the bottom of every page.

With your consent, Google Analytics sets cookies and processes information such as the pages you view, your approximate location, and your device and browser. This information is handled by Google; see the Google Privacy Policy.

Apart from this, the website sets no cookies. Its fonts and images are served from the website itself, not from third-party services.

Hosting

Like any website, our hosting provider may automatically process technical information, such as your IP address and browser type, to deliver pages and keep the service secure.

Your rights

You may ask to access, correct or delete the personal data we hold about you, or object to its use. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time. To make a request, write to info@kopelgurwin.com. You may also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

We do not sell your personal data or use it for advertising.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the website or the services it uses change. The date at the top shows when it was last revised.
